Precision Progressive Die Stampingof 304 Stainless Steel Part

Progressive Die Stamped Stainless Steel Slinger DiskPaykra Tool and Die Inc.'s automotive client needed a grease slinger disk for an ABS motor and asked us to design and build the progressive die, then stamp and supply the part, based on their part print. We created the tooling, and, due to the high volume, installed the die in a high-speed punch press to stamp the part. This part is stamped using 304 stainless steel and measures 0.012" (0.30mm) thick, 0.787" (20.0mm) in diameter and 0.079" (2.0mm) high. Paykra supplies this part using a stock-and-release program with just-in-time delivery provided to the client located in Mexico.
